hello
i buy in an action this mold like new ,i'm not sure that it's casting once
cast few hundred yesterday ,the mold is cut for gas-check .
is somebody use this bullet in an pistol ?
i will try same load with and less g.c
i think this mold is more for use in carabine like the Marlin camp .

good to hear from you again andre.

you will want to do separate load workups for the with/without gas checks.
a powder on the fast side and lower velocitys [275 meters per second area to start] for the non g/c version.
i know some guy's use this mold in thier fully automatic guns.

in my cz75 my load were chrono at 932 f/s with an 09-124 cn ,i will stay at this level
i have no chrono with the s&w .
it's curious than rcbs don't coment the g.c on the box

I have that mould ! i personaly have never tried it without the GC installed, but its accurate in my 9MMs & 38 supers .
I have a 8 cavity Saeco # 384 a 122 gr rn and use it most of the time , sometimes If im shooting max loads or just putting a few through the gun after a range session is the only time i normaly use it. I also have 2 other Saeco 4 cavity moulds for the 9MM & 38 super a #377 122gr tc and a #929 145 gr swc that i also use.
