What are you guys shooting as a cast boolit load in 32acp? I just found an Italian 32 in my dads things. its sized like a Bersa, with a slightly longer 4" barrel. I did not find any magazines with it so I had to order them. While I'm waiting, I'm wondering what others are shooting in theirs? DR

Ranchdog 75 gr over 3.1 gr of Unique. Sized to .314 works as well or better than anything else I have tried.

I've been running 311252's through my wife's Walther PP without any problem. I've been looking for a 311419 or something similar in order to try some heavier loads.

Be sure and slug the barrel. Many ".32"molds and commercial cast bullets are at .313 or .314. This PP slugged at .310.

I also use 311252 in a PP.

Ill dig through the tackel box for a soft lead sinker of the right size to brop in the bore. That will give me something else to do till the mags get here. thanks DR

Miha did a GB for 32ACP Cramer HP's not too long ago. He may have a few left.

What do the Cramer molds drop at?
My 311252 drops at .312 with WW+1%, and I size to .311 for the PP.

He had two sizes, 312 and 314 available. IIRC they droped around 65gr w/ hollow point pins.

On edit: Here's the group buy thread (of course it's closed now but you can always shoot Miha a PM to see if he has extra): http://www.castboolits.gunloads.com/showthread.php?t=126367

after slugging it twice[ the first didn't look so good ] I got .3098 and .3095. So I'm thinking a .312 mold. looking at MiHec's site do the HP molds have the ability to be cast as solids also? and if so do they cast at the same 73grs as the solid mold? He has a very interesting site! Ill be calling him in the next couple of days. DR

I've used Lymans #313249 and more recently #311252 in my 32 ACPs. Both are better small game and varmint whackers than FMJ RN, likely due to their full-caliber square front drive band. Both cut clean holes in target paper, just like a WC or SWC.

I've had excellent accuracy and no feeding problems with the MiHec 74 gr bullet and 2.4 gr of 231.

I'm currently shooting the Ranch Dog 75 grainer with 2.3 grains Hodgdon Titegroup with an OAL of .940 out of my Kel-Tec.

I'm shooting a Lee 93 grain RN .311 over red dot 1.7 gr out of 1903 colt Pocket pistol with excellent function, mild recoil and very good groupings.

Don't cast for .32 yet, but I'm having very good luck with Hornady's 90 gr SWC over 1.8 gr of 231 in my Colt 1903 and Kel-Tec P32.

I got to shoot just a couple of rounds today, The mags showed up in this evenings mail. At 15 feet it shoots 3" high. If I load faster ammo it should move the POI lower? These were Remington 75gr that advertise 905 fps. I'm liking this gun more after shooting it. Its big enough to hold on to, But still small enough to put in a front pocket. DR

Faster loading may move POI, but I am thinking if it is that high at 15 feet I think KY windage may be in order.

This gun also came with three slides, I'm now looking at which has the lowest rear sight. But a 6 o clock hold may be needed also. DR

From my Taurus TCP (732B) and Millennium Pro (PT132Pro), I shoot my TL314-75-RF.

I have two little 32 ACP pistols and they both like the Lyman 311252 with 2.2 grains of Bullseye. That load is enough to cycle the action every shot and is not in any danger of reaching excessive pressure. One pistol has a somewhat tight chamber and will only reliably chamber rounds with boolits sized to 0.310" with all but the thickest brass, but these shoot quite well in it even though they are sized a bit smaller than usual. These little guns are fun to shoot and quite economical, too! By casting using range lead the cost per shot is on par with a 22 LR -- just the cost of a mere 2.2 grains of powder and a primer.

I have an old Colt 1903 in very decent shape. A while back I got in on that Miha group buy for the 32 HP Cramer. Before summer is gone I gotta pour some of them up and get this project going. I've owned that pistol for 20 years and never got it dirty. Shame on me !! enjoy Mike

I load a 311252 over 1.7gr. Bullseye in my Pastor's KelTec P32 and they do real well. They are accurate to boot. I size them at .314!

Ranch Dog, I really like that boolit design of yours for the 32 ACP. Such an upgrade could get me to tumble-lube for the first time. A good, capable flat-nose or TC design for this caliber has been sorely needed, and there it is there. If that short little barrel gets 900+ FPS, my Walther PP or a Colt 1903 might break the 1000 FPS threshold.

It is a fine boolit, I use it in my .32's. Looks like I'm gonna have to try that Universal powder too!
