Anybody know anything about Banka-Tin? It feels and looks like Peuter. I Googled it and it appers to be 99.9 SN.
Anyway I picked up four gobblets today weighing 2lb 13oz. Now I don't think my wife will let me melt them down cause she thinks they are cute.

If you are not out of tin right now let her keep your ingots stored safley and dusted too!
Those ingots are pleasing to the eye.

Bet if you "accidentally" knocked them to the floor and dented them you'd get'em back.

Well, I have 16 bucks invested in those gobblets but my wife is still raving over them. I better keep her out of my shop where the rest of my Peuter stash is.

Tell her they also have lead in them and are unhealthy to handle or use.

Won't work. She wants them for decorations.

actually they are very nice looking. Fleabay them and use the money to buy even more tin. I would offer to buy them but if my wife ever saw them I would be in the same predicament you are in.

I've never successfully bought and melted any pewter.

The wife always seems to get it.
