Lee Slug Mold Help please

Hi, I have cast heaps of slugs from the 1oz and 7/8 molds. One of the molds was used when I bought it and not long after the bottom pyramid came away from the lower base...cheap Ali rivet had popped.

I know..dont bash them..but I dont..just tap or persuade the slugs off sometimes from the main bolt hinge.

Now the other has the same issue.
I drilled and tapped a PK screw into both but when they heat up the pyramid inner mold comes away again on both.
Is there a HI Temp glue I should use to keep the PK screw in..loctite?

I emailed Lee twice, to try and buy 2 more bottom plates with the inner mold part only, but rudely they wont respond. Only the " We'll get back within 48 hours bit":(
Maybe they don't rate business down under in the colonies..)..still rude but.

Any ideas to re-screw these plates and mold bits appreciated.

I have had several responses from lee by email,,,,about 3-5 days. Might be spam blocked or something. Maybe a bit more info in "message" or title of email....
Like---please help with parts for mold in XXXX...at what it cost it might be cheaper to purchase a new mold????

Hello Sarge, I usually encourage others to alter the design etc like this

I took my base pin out and tapped it and put a screw in it.

You can push the hollow base in place and then pour the lead to fill the slug mold, now take a center punch and flare the pin gently so that it will not come out!
The reason its coming out as you cast is that the hollow base pin has tool marks and nicks causing it to hang on to the slug!
Polish it with a fine sand paper and smoothen it!
