This was released today. 10 year plan. The first part of the video gives you an idea of how much of the core of the city has been or is still to be levelled, 70%:

I am right behind it for the sake of my girls as it's their city too. Onwards and upwards.

I was there in 1972 loved it the people were fantastic. I remember "lots" of sheep. I also still reminded from time to time how in downtown Auckland all the walkers went on the diaginal when the walk light changed.

I would hope not. Can't imagine why any city wants to host the Games. Costs more than it is ever worth.
