Did a search and didn't come up with anything. Any data out there?

Same way you would any other caliber, ie. load her until the bullet just barely compresses when bullet is seated to proper depth and then hang on when the hammer drops.

God Bless and shoot safe.

OOPs! The thing which gets slightly compressed is the powder, not the bullet. Sometimes my brain is way out ahead of my fingers.

Thanks Gripmaker! I called Hodgdon and they echoed pretty much the same thing, he did mention to only use FF and not FFF.

I have tried T7 in the 44 mag, just like described above. It works, but real black powder was a lot more accurate. T7 sure is powerful though and you can use smokeless powder boolits.

Silvercreek, don't know if you have read the Triple Seven loading loading notes. If you haven't ... http://www.hodgdon.com/loading.html

I would not be afraid to load 3FFF in a .44 mag. at all.
