Treated myself to a case of 7.62x54r surplus . I bought a case of Czech surplus , it arrived still sealed , with both the S&B seal and the metal band still in place. Opened the case expecting to see the galvanized steel box with the boxes of laquered ammo the like 7.62x39 I bought a few years ago ... Wrong a plastic bag with loose copper washed . Great I like the copper washed in the mosin better anyway , the old girl shoots really well with Russian copper washed light ball. After some research at 7.62X54r.net I realize that this is Chinese ammo , produced at factory 61 in 1967 .
