Some years back developed a load with 311041 for use in my M1A and a friends G1 (close kin to the CETME). Bullets were cast of WWs and AC'd, lubed with javelina and sized .311 with Hornady GCs. Load was 30 gr of H4895 and velocity was just over 1900 fps out of the M1A, did not chronograph in G1. Accuracy was acceptable for hunting deer if necessary, 3-4 MOA. That bullet at that, or slightly higher velocity, is a very good deer killer.

Lyman 311291 (180 gn RN) does very well in my .308 (30.0 gns IMR 3031 = approx 2000 fps). This bullet seems to work well in a variety of .30 cals.
