I was hopeful and cautiosly optimistic about my trip to the range with my , but the results were even better than I anticipated. Much of the credit belongs here at the Cast Boolits forum. Thank you.
The details:
Lee 452-250-RF and the 452-300-RF GC molds
Wheel Weights, (Cast ~255 and ~315 grains)
Hornady Gas Check (for 300gr Bullet)
Lee Sizer .452 (for 300gr GC bullets)
Lee Liquid Alox
The 250gr, unsized, LLA lubed
SR7625, 9.2gr (upper mid Ruger Level acording to my data)
WLP
Starline 4x cases
OAL=1.555"

1140 fps with a SD of 6.63 in my Marlin 1894CB 45 Colt
50 yard GS = <2"
In my Marlin 1894CB this load averaged 1140 fps with promising accuracy. Sub 2" groups at 50 yards.
Out of my 4-5/8" Ruger Black Hawk this load averaged 870 fps and was sub 2" at 25 yards, two handed hold. POA = POI. At 25 feet it was an enlarged hole, again POA = POI. Cases fell from the cylinders. Clean burning, very little soot.
The 300gr load
I lube this before and after sizing/GC'ing.

Off a front rest with open sights I shot this 50 yard group;

1-5/16" center to center including the flier. Four of the five inside of 15/16" outside to outside. I am very encouraged. This load cycles perfectly through my 1894CB and averaged just under 1100 fps.
The 2400 leaves the bore quite speckled (powder zombies). The cases were moderately sooted and fell freely from my Blackhawk's cylinder. Perhaps upping the charge could clean that up some? Insights?
In the Blackhawk it showed promising accuracy <2" at 25 yard and printed almost 6" higher than POA using the same zero as the 250 grain load. The velocity averaged 834 fps in the BH.
Cleanup was easy afterwards (perhaps the easiest cleaning session I've ever had with these guns) with no obvious indication of leading.
I am one happy caster!
