What difference in blast and recoil do you see between these two with factory ammo, 240gr vs 200gr ?

If you compare them with adequate deer loads loaded with minimizing the above what do you see?

Thanks

You could probably laod a 44 mag down to typical 44-40 velocites and get deer up close without a lot of trouble. A lot of deer have been taken with 44 mag revolvers so a rifle laoded to that level would be more than adequate. Many have just used hardcast in a revolver. A 35 would probably not be as good with the idea of minimizing blast and recoil as it is smaller diameter with more case capacity. With the right bullet it could be loaded down, but I think the 44 might be a better candidate. I would not use that heavy of bullet in the 44 if I wanted lighter recoil. Never really thought about loading my 35 down that much except for plinking. One could use 357 bullets in it.
