Does anyone know what Lee De-Capping pin will measure close to 0.309?
My 30-06 Neck sizing die's pen is .305 I need to expand the ID of a 7.62x25 formed brass from 5.56mm neck to .309 before reaming it.

Will Lee make me a pin, I wonder, to fit a '06 neck sizing die?

Added Later: Does anyone have a 30-30 Neck Die you could measure the pen for me, I just measured a piece of brass and it was real close!

I need to load 0.312" boolits for my 1970 336. I ended up using the 7.7/303 Brit pin.
Yes they will make a custom pin, but you can do the same thing by either turning or polishing an 8mm pin down. If memory serves 0.002" under the boolit diameter should give you the proper neck tension.

jimkim the 8mm you suggested, are you speaking of the 8mm Mauser?

Thanks for the info!

Sometime ago I bought an inside neck expander die from Sinclair. Well made with interchangable expander rods. I used it for 222 and 223. They had 308 rods also.

.307, Lee, Hornady and RCBS. I use the 303 for cast in 30 cal. What is the OD of the 8mm plug? 5.56 to 7.62 and you have enough brass in the neck to ream? Whisper case?
