Having fun working with these lately. S&W 696-4; Uberti Birshead 3.75"; Ruger Vaquero 3.75".

The Smith is probably the most accurate handgun I own. It shoots 200 gr and 240 gr cast well.

The Ruger is good out of the box showing a preference for the 240 gr FN.

Wanted a birdshead in 44 spec. and found this one at a gunshow 2 months ago. Like it more than I thought, really handles well and again is accurate. Need some cooler weather to cast more 44's, ran through 800 in very short order.

Darn fine guns there. I have not found the 44 to be all that and a bag of chips in the past, but my Ruger Flat Top has totally changed my thinking. I got one of the NOE 5 Cavity WC molds--SWEET!
