My father just gave me an Ideal single cavity 280 268L mold w/ handles. It has some minor surface rust (easily cleaned). What mold is this for (270)?
I do not have anything under 30 caliber (with the exception of a 6.5), so it has limited value to me.. What is its value?

Thanks,

It is for 270 caliber, but I have one I have been saving to try to size down and use on some fat bore 6.5's. I paid $20 for mine, in average condition. I tend to think that the 270 molds bring a bit less money because the caliber is not that popular for cast.

Loverin design for the .270, made in 2 different weights IIRC. If typical, it'll probably cast around .282 diameter. Let me know if you want to get rid of it, it's one I don't have.
