I was getting ready to order some kroil. I went to their site and there is about 8 to 12 products. So the question is which is the one to use on firearms? I tried to check old post but there were literally thousands containing Kroil.

Penephite

Dryphite

Exrust

Kroil/Aerokroil

Lubricone

Microil

Prevox

Pyrolube

Silikroil

Slikene

Hi,
I use the Kroil penetrating oil! I was working with a black kid from Philly and we were trying to get some bolts off of a 6 bolt flange. They were pretty tough and this kid says,"You need some of that creeker oil!" I said,"what?" He said,"you need some of that creeker oil,10 and 0 baby, 10 and 0!!!"

I finally figured out he was talking about Kroil as it is advertised "as the oil that CREEPS"

I'm not sure which in the list this oil is, but the Kroil that I use, I buy from Midway USA. Here is a link to the 8 oz. can which goes a long way...

I use the original Kano Kroil. Buy it by the gallon, cheaper that way, use it for a lot of things beside gun related.

I've got about half their products (those bargin offers are killers) but the plain Kroil gets the call. Wonderful stuff for any lube job.

I use the kroil that midway sells and even broke down and bought a gallon of it. It works to loosen any rusted, hard to remove issue I have had with bolts, screws, firearms and keeps them just fine.
I even used it on a firearm that the barrel was rusted because some fool forgot to clean it for a few days and it removed all the rust and the firearm works just fine. Great stuff

I have never seen Kroil sold in any store ever. In fact I never even heard of it until I found castboolits. I got two cans in there online deal last year.
