Anyone got any suggestions? Looking for someplace where we can spot and stalk hogs with our sixguns.

There is a place over in Shoshone Idaho I was looking at Dan. Its $375 a hog though and a 6 hour drive from Rock Springs, some of the guys I shoot archery with went over there and they said it was a ball......they put rubber tips on thier arrows and hunted all day before they screwed on broad heads.

I know there are some ranches down in Utah that offer hog hunts and doing a quick google search it looks like most of those are $375 per hog also.

Im thinking road trip through SLC to pick up JT and than down to Texas.

I checked out the website. Only about a 5 hr drive from my Ely house. This might be a must-do. 440 acres shouldn't feel too canned and it is unguided. Should be a fun walk about with a levergun and cast boolits. I checked out a place in CA that wanted $750.00 for the first pig and you needed CA nonresident license and tags to the tune of about another $300. This website didn't say if you needed a Idaho nonres license or not.

My outfitter has all but retired but plenty of places around here offer hunts for $400 or less. That generally barely covers insurance, gov't fees and expenses.

I'm on a lease south of Amarillo, we have three openings. A little expensive but there are deer too.

Pm me if you want info.
