I've searched the threads but can find nothing about loading large pistol magnum primers in .45ACP. I have a couple boxes I'd like to use up. Any one tried this?, if so I'd appreciate your load data. I'd probably be using Bullseye and a 200g SWC CB or 225g RN CB. Thanks...

Back off your load by half a grain. Use that as a starting point.

Years ago i picked up about 20,000 Fed LPM primers at a very good price ! I was running out of Fed LP primers so i tried the LPM primers in one of my pet loads consting of 5.0 gr WSL powder and a Saeco #68 200gr swc cast bullet . [This is not a max load ] I shot them from a bench using a red dot scope , I shot 25 shots with the LP and another 25 shots with the LPM primers the LP group was a little tighter ! but the difference would be unnoticable off hand .
I could of perhaps worked up a specfic load with the LPM primers but i saw no reason to.

I've used mag primers the 45 without a problem. I just used the starter load.
