Anyone have any luck with this boolit at medium power levels in .357?

I am shooting it in a Smith and a GP100 using 2400 right at 1300fps.Might be a little heavier than you are looking for.
Will do an honest 1 1/4 inch and less at 25yds.

I tried it with some very light loads in my 686, some Bullseye, Red Dot, and Unique and didn't have much luck. Next time back at the range I going to up the Unique to about 6 grains and try 2400. I'm looking for something in the 1000 to 1100 fsp range with accuracy.

Forgot to add this.
One of Skeeters med loads is 13.5 gr 2400 for 1250 fps. I am using 14 grs and getting 1300 in my 4"GP100.
I did not have much luck with the bullet in HP form.

I'm shooting it with 6.2gr Unique in a 6" GP100 and it's like a laser beam. 'Best boolit I have ever loaded.. . bar none. (I haven't loaded any of the solid ones yet, I likes the HPs :mrgreen:)

Will try some 2400 fast powders did not work. Was hoping for 950fps or so.

Just today i worked up another load using 5.5 gr of Tightgroup. In a 3"Smith i was getting 957fps with good accuracy.

I went back to the range today I was there early trying to beat the heat. I went up to 6 grains of Unique much better. 9 grains of Blue Dot better yet and 11 grains of 2400 the best yet. It appears to me that this boolit like to go fast, Thats just fine with me I'll tweak it up some more the next time out. Didn't get any velocity readings I didn't take the Chrony too dang hot to foolwith that kind of stuff.

Shot some today over 13.5 of 2400. The clouds parted, the sun shown down, and I think I heard a chorus. Just can't push this one slow. Life is good.
