has any one tryed a buckshot load with 440 or 50 cal round ball in a 12 gauge

Hello MillTownHunter, I personally have not tried it but a friend here Bigsmitty had taken my .527" RB's from me and was loading them in .500 cal Sabots that were a bit on the under size and were soft! If I remember correctly he was putting 2 balls in sabot and shooting them in 12 gauge!

Hello MillTownHunter, just so that you know what sabot I'm talking about, its the baige one.

I could not find my .527" RB's, otherwise I would have put them in it and posted that picture!
Put your RB in sabot/wad and check the total payload weight and then use data for that weight as a starting load!
