hello i need some information on some loads for the 32-20 cast bullet i will be casting 170 grain with a gas check i try lyman book but no luck who else might i try...:coffeecom

My seventies-vintage Lyman cast book only lists data for a 91 and a 115 grain boolit. Richard Lee's 1st Ed book lists data for a 150 grain jacketed - 4.0 - 4.4 of Unique for 890fps. Thats as heavy as I can find....

I load the 311041 and RCBS 165 SIL in .32-20. My Contender has a long throat, so OAL is 2.1". I have had good results on bigbore silhouettes with around 10 grains of 4227. This is a light load, but takes rams reliably.

hey guys thanks for the information on the 32-20 rifle 170 grain cast boolits i think i will put this rcbs mold back in the box and wait till i find more cast loading for it huh....
