Disappointing lead pickup

Picked up some WW yesterday from one of my contacts at the tire store. Total weight was 33#.
Sorted it today, this is what I came up with:
11# of clip on WW. This includes the clips.
29# of steel clip on and stick on.
1# of lead stick on.
And the usual amount of junk that happened to get thrown into the bucket.
There were no zinc WW in the pick up.
Picking getting pretty slim anymore.

:coffeecom That's the reason I went to buying some of the lead available on the Swappin' and Sellin' classifieds. I managed to get about 200# locally, then had all the rest shipped in. I like getting Lyman #2 and foundry lead. Most of the lead you buy is a lot cleaner than wheelweights - that does mean something!

Cheer up, there are more sources. It ain't over til it's over!

WW too expensive around here anyway, besides all the steel and zinc.
I'm happy with my free range lead.
