Was wondering if anyone has one and what is their favorite load. Believe the one I have coming to me has a1:48 twist and I was hoping to use a conical on the next moose hunt I go on (hoping this fall if I can pull a tag)

I think that m/l is the same one I have. I shoot a prb with 120 grains of 2f holy black. I haven't got around to playing with a conical for mine.

My Investarms .58cal likes the Lyman 577611 530gr heavy skirted minie pushed by 90grs FFg Goex. I sight it in for 5" high @ 50yds so it is right on at 100yds.

We bought several of these in .50 and mine in .54 back when Sile was bringing them in. Good thing they didn't offer it in .58 then, I may not have survived! Liked the chrome bore and carbine barrel. I used enough 2F or 3F (100 grains) to blow the hammer back to half cock with an Uncle Mike's Hot Shot nipple and #11 caps. It beat me up but I would put patched round balls clean through deer every time. Glad Remington stepped up with theirs.

I ave one like it.I shoot 120gr FFG Goex felt wad over powder,.562 hand cast bullet wrapped in .020 pillow ticking she'll just about shoot one hole groups all day @ 75yds from a rest.Pushing that big 'ole RB will kill a moose no doubt and not beat ya up as bad as a conical but a good conical will make MOOSE MEAT fast too.Good luck on yer draw
