Fellas, I gathered a 5 gallon bucket of 22 brass over the last coupla' days and finally got around to washing it and pickout out debris. As I went through it, I began to realize there are way too many crushed or damaged cases.

I can't see somebody paying 2 to 3 dollars a pound and shipping for a box full of brass that has that many damaged cases.

I wish I had time to sort it, but my range lead keeps me busy 10 hours a day, 6 days a week. I gave it my best shot, but like I said, I just don't have the time to sort it. I'm sorry it didn't work out.

Probably from being stepped on

If you're sweeping it up from concrete, it'll likely be in really bad shape.

If it's from an indoor range, where no one could walk on it, it would be in great shape.

Most of mine comes from an outdoor range, where some of it gets walked on. Out of 100 pcs, I get maybe 10-12 that got walked on, and is very worth while picking out the unusable ones.

Take your bucket to your local scrapper, and get the $1.80 or so per pound that they are paying these days.
