Ten bars of solder for $10. The bars are stamped 50% tin. Interestingly, they average 1-1/2 lbs each, but they vary up to a few ounces plus or minus from that.
I (or my wife) have been buying cheap left over coils of solder at garage and estate sales for years. I have more 50% lead-tin on hand from that, but this is the largest score I have ever made at one time. It makes adding extra tin to the mix easy and without pain.
