I did a small update. Give it a shot now.

Opened it and got a screen:

So far, so good; but I couldn't get it to take my answer, and none of the little windows at the bottom did anything. What do I have to do to respond?

generally just typing the response and hitting enter .... or click on send...weird.

This chatroom is JAVA based which is much better in a lot of ways then using FLASH which was our old chat room. I would recommend updating your JAVA here:

If you guys are having problems, PLEASE update JAVA, if you still have problems please be specific about the problems.. Makes it easier to troubleshoot.

I have the update installed correctly it tells me, but when I click on the icon thingo, I get the loading strip with the green lights/bars at the bottom of the page and then it just goes back to this page.

close your browser and open it up again.
