i bought a mossberg 715t a few months ago. I have ran 2000rds of different. cci blazers and mini mags are the clear winners.

I like Blazers as well, they are my favorite 'cheap' .22 ammo.

Blazers are my go to ammo for all my rimfires.

Have you tried Winchester M22 yet? The don't sell the Blazers in my area. And I don't want to pay for MiniMags, which are slim picking as well. The M22s are the only 22lr that will work in all my rimfires.

not yet, every time I go to pick some up. there out. the reviews on m22 are excellent. with how well the cci's are doing out of this one gun, I am intrusted in trying out the cci ar-22 ammo.

Since December , I've gone through over seven thousand rounds or twenty-two long rifle ammo . A lot of it being Thunderbolt , Blazer , Super-X and Federal Champion . This is the first time in thirty years I've bought Federal rimfire ammo because of very poor quality way back then . Also , I bought a brick of Armscorp ammo :groner:save yourself the truble and pass on that stuff .

Anyway while testing all the new ammo that was available I bought a thousand rounds of the M-22 by Winchester . Accuracy in four rifles wasn't as bad as the Armscorp but it wasn't far from it sometimes . It never was the best in any of the rifles and it's quality control makes me wonder if Winchester really made the stuff . Bent cases , mangled bullets , misfires and rounds that refuse to fire even when struck all around the rim .

My stash of Super-X is twenty years old and I use that as comparison to the new M-22 . Even the bulk Winchester hollow points group better in all but one rifle . It's likely I won't replace the M-22 when it's gone , the Blazer and Winchester 555 type ammo works just so much better . I didn't try the M-22 in an AR type rifle and maybe that's the problem but I don't think so .

The long and short of it is , if it works buy a pallet of the same lot number and use it .

Nice, wifes is accurate with all brands we have tried, no mini mags yet, save them for critters. She likes that little rifle and shoots it well.

The CCI mini-mags work well in my weapons. However, my Savage Mk II and Win 1885 really like Wolf Match Target.

I bought a couple of boxes of the Winchester M22 about a year ago. I've just about managed to chew through one box, sure won't be buying any more.
Marginal accuracy in every gun I've tried it in, several guns that don't like it and manifest as failures to feed and eject, and a higher dud rate than Blazer or Federal, both of which are cheaper.

the review came from sites. guess someone was making them sound better then they are. well, been debating. really as all things, would not know unless I try them myself. may not. at there price, it is not worth me having half a box setting around.

I avoid Remington Golden Bullet and Thunderduds. I mean Thunderbolts. Varying power, accuracy and reliability.

Of the promo priced .22 ammo I have found that the CCI Blazers shoot remarkbly well in all the pistols and rifles I hacve used them in. I have also found the Federal Bulk pack Hollow Point "target " to be very accurate as well they are also about $20.00 for 525. The Remington's are the worst by far, and I have given up on Winchesters I find them to be all over the place on accuracy & quality.

I have had luck with winchesters in my lever action 22. as for remington's I have had luck with thunderbolts in my semi auto. the accuracy is not anywhere close to cci's. the remington gold bullets, last batch I got have been not bad as far as duds 1 out of little over 200 rds shot so far. just jams like crazy in my mossberg.
