A buddy of mine is a real pack rat. He's one of those guys that finds stuff others have thrown out and he takes it home and does something it. So I asked him if he has any lead. He said he had a couple hundred pounds kicking around for years but he just threw it out. Ugh. So now when I'm visiting with friends I ask if they have any spare lead. Last night I had a box of scrap lead handed to me at a friends house. Not a couple hundred pounds, but it was free and he was glad to be rid of it. So put the word out to your friends, you never know what you'll get.
