I was offered a few molds in exchange for helping someone cast some .50 cal minis. I have been trying to identify these molds and am not coming up with much. Any thoughts on the caliber etc and who made these? Also could any of these be loaded as round balls for a shotgun?

Some pictures would go a long way to identifying the moulds! Are those numbers stamped on the side of the moulds, or are those the diameters?

If the number (787) on the Round Ball mold is the diameter of the ball it is too big to use in a 12 gauge. I use a .680 round ball and it slips right in a 12 gauge wad with a snug fit. A .787 ball is a full 1/10" larger. If my memory serves my correctly that size ball was used in an American Revolution smooth bore musket ie. 78 caliber.

Like I said, w/o pics it's a guessing game, but- back in the days of the American Bi-Centennial (just a minute a go to me- 1976) there was an enormous black powder revival. It was HUGE! At that time and for about 7-8 years after, say 1974-85ish, the market was flooded with reproduction rifles and gear. Moulds were part of that and places like Dixie sold gazillions of them. There were of course a whole big mess of other makers turning out everything from very good moulds to junk from India and Spain. Without a better description or pics it's going to be very hard to even begin to guess what you have. You may have some very nice moulds or you may have junk.
