Do these barrels have an extractor or ejectors?
If ejectors, search for a schematic of the barrels for a Fox Model B. Same thing.

Think I misunderstood your OP. Are you asking how to lessen the amount of effort needed to break open the sg after firing?

Yes! I'd like to use the gun for sass but the effort to breake down for reloading is HUGE!!!

If you go to the SASS forum or the CAS forum and search Savage or Stevens 311 lots will turn up.

A spring kit from brownells and a few curse words as you attempt to install it will be needed.......And after it is all said and done, sell it and get a Stoeger

One has to replace the hammer springs with lighter springs. Look in a good firearms disassembly manual for the procedure.
