I picked up a blued GP the other day and have decdided that i want to mount a Red Dot of some type on my SS GP. Have any of you guys mounted a scope/dot on a GP100?
If so what kind of mounts did you use and any pictures would be great.
Thanks

I got a GP100 with a Crimsom Trace laser grip.
I like it just fine.
Thanks BB

I have a Weigand mount on my GP 100 and my .44 mag SBH. Nice light compact mount. Uses the sight screw and you have to D&T 2 6X48 holes in the top strap. Pretty easy to do if you have a drill press. The Pro Point I have on mine is a fairly bulky but dependable sight.

I have this one on my half-lug GP100 ... no drilling, no tapping, full length support.

My dad had a weaver mount with an aim point on his. He took it off a few years ago and lost half the mount.

I have the Jack Weigand on my S&W and love it. Another vote for Weigand!

Just put a Weigand on my 357 blackhawk this weekend, definately a nice mount. If you're using a smaller dot sight like the Burris fast fire you could cut the mount back to the frame/barrel junction for a more compact mount.
