Alrighty, it is actually 62 year old, give or take, but it is new to me. This Old Official Police 38 Special was my father's day gift, and it is pretty nifty. It shoots very well indeed with 358-311's sized .358 and driven to standard 38 velocities by 4.5 grains of WW-231.:) I suspect that it is an old Police gun from the wear on th butt and front sight, but it is tight as a drum, and almost certainly has been fired very little. I plan on fixing that!!
