Ya there wood.I used black leather stain, & then finished with True-oil &
then took the shine out with steel wool.I still need to steel wool the wood
a little more.
It looks better in person then the pic's.Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm

That is really cool Fly. You did an outstanding job on that. It is hard to tell from the photo but, will it fit in a coat or vest pocket? The reason why I ask, is because in some places a black powder gun is not considered a weapon. When I was a teen I use to carry a small 36 cal revolver in a shoulder holster under my jacket, after a discussion with the county sheriff and the town police chief. Both agreed that the legal definition was a replica antique, and by Missouri law did not consider it a weapon.
