My bore is 3555. I am using a lee tl 124 rn..............I am using a pro auto disk and powder through expander. I am using a .38 expander in a 9mm die ( I made an insert to take up the slack on my lathe.

My bullets are 358 on the way in, and pull at min. 356-357. I am double lubing in 45/45/10. My powder is hs-6 I have tried 5.2 5.5 and 6 grains. Once I started double lubing my leading went away almost completely. I was having lead build up on the leading edge of the rifling prior to double lubing.

My problem is I still have keyholeing and it is worst with the hot charge. I am running 8 bnh per the lee tester........is this to soft? Is it possible that the rifling is stripping off the bullet?

The bullets that do not keyhole stack on top of each other at 7 yards the keyholes will be 1-2" out of the group. I get the highest percentage of keyholes with the 6 grn charge. Any suggestions would be great. Thanx

That will work fine with a normal lube design - Lee 356-120-TC works great for me.

A lot of folks have poor results with TL in 9mm. Strongly recommend Lee 356-120 -TC
with NRA 50-50 at .357 or .358.

Here is a basic look at the problems for 9mm with boolits, might help.
