I just ordered a bulk package of food grade citric acid. When it comes in, I'll work up a procedure for brightening 22LR cases with it. If all goes well, I hope to have some available around the 10th or so.

I'll keep y'all posted on the progress.

How much are you planning on selling it for? I have seen some try to sell it before but did not really work for the effort put in. Most just pick it up.

It would be best if I didn't get into that here. That could be misconstrued as advertising and could cause some misunderstanding. I posted the notice just to let the swaging group that this would be coming soon.

Oh sure. I just ask because I would not want it to be a waste of time for you.

A plastic container of Lemishine, which is virtually 100% citric acid, is $3 and change at Walmart. Doesn't take much to do what it does.

HERE (http://envirocontech.com/item/lemi-shine-msds.html) is a link to the MSDS for Lemi Shine. The MSDS says it contains 60% of a proprietary secret. I called Envirocon, the company that makes it and asked them what's in it. They told me 'citric acid and citric oils".

All I know is that when I open a new container of it, it kinda smells like Old Tyme Lemonade Mix.
