I got a new mold in the mail yesterday. From Tom at Accurate molds a 5 cavity .434-230C. This is going to be used in my Marlin 44mag 94 CB.I had him make this mold after the schedule change made by Sweed at NOE. I was on the group buy #111
I am still on the group buy but now only for a RG 2.
I cast a few up today just to see how the mold would work and there were no problems at all.The boolits just fell from the mold as it was opened. They measured right at .435 from my WW alloy and weighed 225 grs. They will be sized at .433 in a Lee die after being lube and gas checked in a Lyman 435 die.
I haven't shot any boolits from this mold yet but hope to very soon.
We as boolit casters are very lucky to have the great mold makers such as NOE and Accurate Molds as well as MiHec and even Lee.When Lee gets one right it is a real good deal for the money.
Here are a couple of photos
