A friend gave me on old Lee 10# drip pot today that doesn't work. Heating element is burned in two pieces. Is it worth the $13.00 for a new element? It sure is a little bugger and I'd still have to fire up the gas burner to clean up my lead and make little ingots that fit in the pot. Do you fellows that have them like them?

They're OK at best. The 20 is much better. I still use mine on occasion with 2 cavity molds for short runs.

Yes, I'd buy the element.

If you don't like it, you can sell it for more than the cost of a replacement element.

I started with a lee 10# pot and it worked fine. Yes, it dribbled but you really can't go wrong with repairing that pot.

I agree; I would fix it.

New heater ordered. Darn, I've got to make little ingots now.

I was in the same boat. I decided to fix mine and dedicate it to soft lead and use my 20 pounder for alloy.

Same here. Started with the little one then bought the 20 pounder. Keep pure lead in the little one and wheel weights in the big one. They are cheap enough I've even thought about buying another 20 pounder just in case.
