Took the plunge into casting goodness!

I want to thank everyone who answered various threads here and there, and those that offered advice in the chat rooms!

Today I had finally assembled all of my lead casting pieces in the same spot at the same time and put them to work!!!

I bought 24 lbs of WW, he shipped 32! (YAY, THANKS!) and today I went through half of that.

I sent a write up to some friends at work who are also interested and I wanted to say thanks to everyone here! I really appreciate the knowledge you guys share and I can't wait to get into my next batch!!! :)

Glad you're enjoying it right off the bat. It's a great hobby. I do it mainly for the cost savings since I like to shoot a lot. Some other guys just like to buy molds(own MANY of them) and constantly try different things.

I`m 1 that likes to try different things , picture this ,a shelf built out of 2x10 4ft wide & to the ceiling ,loaded with lead boolits of all different calibers & bhn!!

I won`t even mention the old fridge full !!!

I think I`m gonna just remelt it all into 1 alloy & start over !!!!

Yeah , I`m saving money - - - - - - for the next mold LOL!!!!
