What are you planing on loading , 38 , 357 Mag , 357 Max or 35 Rem ??

I load several simeral weight bulets in the 38 and 357 mag with Unique

In my DW #15 with the 6" barrel on it
With Fed small pistol primers
Never checked FPS , but they shoot great and are safe in my guns
I load in 357 mag cases 6.2 gr of Unique for about 1000 fps maybe a little less
I load in 38 cases 4.0 gr of Unique for about 750 FPS

I just looked at the post listing again
You have your post listed as 311429 and 358429 listed as the mould #

As I can't see a 311429 listed , I figured it was 358429 a 168 gr bullet

If not ignore my post

johnch, I screwed up on the original title, tried to edit it or delete it, thats as good as I could make it, thanks for the info, I shoot 357 mag in my contender with a 14 inch barrel, I like the unique load and will give it a try, Rick

Winchester SP and 10 grains of Blue Dot in .357-with bullet crimped in the groove(tht is too long for some revolvers but Okay in my Ruger SS.) I have some "li'l gun" that I am about to experiment with.

Lyman #358429 is a rather late arrival at my casting bench. To date, I haven't tried it in the 357 Magnum, but it shoots EXTREMELY well in my 38 Special (Colt OMT). This particular mold is one of the "short-cherried" variants, with a rather short base band and as-cast weight of 162 grains in 92/6/2.
