I've been looking on this forum for pure lead from any of our merchants and am coming up empty. Besides getting it from Rotometals I'd like to do business with a brother caster if possible.

All of my pure lead that I have came out of the S&S section, it seems it comes and goes just as fast when they list it. Don't give up hope just keep checking that area and you'll get what your looking for.

You may be looking right at it and not realizing exactly what it is you are looking at. Stick-on wheel weights are generally considered very near pure lead and are very soft. Granted it is not truly pure, but is close enough for most shooting needs. Lead pipe is also generally considered very close to pure, as is cable sheathing lead.

Unless you are actually needing lab grade or foundry pure lead, any of these should work well for softening up harder alloys or for casting RBs for front stuffers.

I guess the question here is "what are you planning on using the "pure" lead for?"
