Front sight Redhawk to short

My SRH .44 shoots the 310 Lee about 2.5 feet high at 100 yards. Anybody try one of these or something similar??

Yes I have and I got the blank blade. I left it with a vertical face and filed it to the right height, after leaving some adjustment to go down with the rear sight, and then blued it.
It works perfectly.
