Hi Folks.....

I got busy last night and converted one of my Uberti 1873 SAA revolvers from 45LC to 38-40 WCF.

A fun project.

If you can get hold of a .357 mag cylinder for that gun you could rechamber it to 10mm or .40 S&W or 1 of each and have the ultimate convertible

Not sure I'd want to fire off a 39,000 PSI round in a revolver designed for 12-14,000.

BTW...My Wolfe Spring kit arrived from Brownells yesterday. Took the revolver completely apart. "De-Horned" everything, installed the new springs........AMAZING!

One of the smoothest SAA revolvers I own.

I did have one issue.......The area around the firing pin hole was pushed out toward the cylinder. I believe this is caused by dry firing. It was dragging a bit on some primers. Three swipes with a fine file and that issue was resolved.

Can't wait for the next CAS!

I love it, I always wanted a .38 WCF revolver, a better caliber than ever given its due.
