I went to a gun shop yesterday and they had a ruger single six 32 h&r mag in 5.5" barrel. It is a first year production but it had a brass grip frame and trigger gaurd. Did they ever do a brass grip frame on these? I figured someone had added them but, if it came from the factory that way I will go and buy it. I am always looking for 32's.

Thanks, Brandon

No brass grip frame from Ruger on any New Model, has to be an aftermarket item.

If the price was right I'd buy it anyway. You can always get the cheapo aluminum grip frame to replace the brass if you wanted.

I wish Ruger would bring back the .32 Single Six. The little Vaquero is ok, but the original was better.

I allready have a 4.625" first or second year production. It is $375 so I am still tempted to go and get it just for a shooter. I could probably get the price down a little.

I had this in my hands today and passed at $368.00.

Looked wierd and felt uncomfortable (too long a reach from handle to trigger).

Small shop in NY state that has an online store, It's been listed online on their inventory for awhile and clerk said owner is gettin ready to put it on Gunbroker as it has not sold.

if it is a .32 it would be worth it to buy it swap grip frames and sell that one. If it has been there awhile I bet cash would talk real loud also

yep, it's a .32 H&R mag. I don't think it would be cost effective to return it to it's original condition as these in exc. cond. is only worth just shy of $500.00 at most, of the five I own, the most I paid was for a Bisley model (paid $495.00), most were purchased in the four hundred dollar range or less.

well unless you went with a steel grip frame which would be a waste on a .32 you can pick up grip frames for under 35.00. So say you have 400 into the gun and you sale the brass grip frame say for fifty. still sounds like a good deal to me jmho

F.W.I.W., That brass grip frame, with grips, sells for about $200 new.
You should be able to sell it for enough to buy a factory grip frame with grips and a couple boxes of ammo.
