Would it be best for me to melt and flux into ingots the same as I do my ww lead thereby making it easier to add and mix when casting boolits?

Or is it clean enough to use as is and drop in as I need it?

Also, what is a good ww to lino lead ratio? Thanks.

Your mix may depend on the particular use. For rifle, I generally mix 1 lino/1 lead. For pistol and revolver boolits I will mix it 1/3 or 1/4. I can't get WW in my area, so this is for pure lead. I usually just mix up a 20lb pot of whatever alloy then cast it all up. All my lead is in sheet form, so I cut it into pieces small enough to fit in the pot, then mix it with ingots of lino.

Yea......sorry, mostly pistol at this point. Thanks. Do you make ingots of the lino?

Neighbor-

I'd cast them into buckshot and save them separate from everything else. That way when you decide to blend some WW with Lino it will be pretty simple process since you have it in tiny weighable portions.

FWIW, I mix WW/Lino 20/1 for rifle in 30-30, 06', 308. Pistol, straight ACWW.

Save the lino; its worth money and getting harder to find lately.

I put a couple lbs in my melting pot to sweeten 14-15lbs of range lead.

Did some .44 bullets this way today and they water dropped to about 17-18BHN. :)
