I want to thank every one for the help so far, Kenny's information on a load for my 45-110 made a night and day difference on group size. I have read about primer wads and would like to try them. What is the best material to use for them.

My load so far is 110 grains goex Fg compressed .385 a .030 Walters wad .060 HDPE .090 cork .030 Walters .444 baco money patched to .4505 wiped between shots my groups are 1.75 at 200 yards.

Before I found this board and got some advise from members here my groups were 10-15 inches at 200 yards.

Thanks Larry D

Larry,

So far for me to date, Ashless filter paper made by Watman has worked the best it is always consumed in the firing and leaves no residue. This bit of information came to me via Dan T, and I bought mine off Amazon.com Good old Tracing paper workes pretty well but some times I found paper donuts inside the case. I can not recommend Watman Filter paper enough.
