I voted.......existing laws are more than adequate, and way more than we actually need. How many are on the "books" now? 20,000 the last time I heard! In any case they didn't seem to stop this guy.

Did any of you read the accompanying article? There's one thing about this whole situation that the Democrats are sincerely hoping no one will remember. I remember. I wish I had a way to get the info in front of the public's eyes.

When the Instant Check system was put in place, Congressional debate originally agreed that ALL public records that would indicate disqualified buyers were to be put into the system. However it was the DEMOCRATS who made sure that the mental health records would not be centralized for this purpose, citing "medical privacy rights", and therefore refused to fund that part of the public records centralization for the Instant Check system.

So the next time you hear a Dem saying (as was mentioned in the article) that the States didn't have the money to fund mental health record centralization, enabling Hui to get his guns, REMEMBER WHO MADE SURE THE STATES DIDN'T HAVE THE MONEY!
