Anybody know what machine these are for? I know there are 2 rifle shell holders in there for certain.

Many thanks in advance.

Just a guess...Maybe they are from an old horizontal press like a Schmitt, etc?

Got me. Some sort of swage set maybe?

Looks a lot like some one off homemade gear to me. Looks to be well made too.

I'd say Belding and Mull. Ask Pressman.

Thanks RMCC, but I do not know either.
Question? What is the thread pitch? From the pictures it looks to be 5/8"-30 Lyman. If not, what is it.

The diameter is the same as a 5/8 Lyman but the TPI is not the same. It will not thread into a Lyman. I don't have a gauge so I can't say what it is, but it is more coarse.

Looks like some old tools I`ve seen for loading paper shotgun shells ????

Looks as if a decent machinist had a good "back door" project going !!!

But the threads are`nt 5/8 x 30 maybe there`s a press somewhere to match em ???

That`s my WAG from the limited knowledge I have !!

Looks like dies for a Jordan press.

Not Jordan. Something completely different.

Do the smaller tools thread into the larger piece someway , then used in an arbor press ???

& I think there a few different "kits for calibers" there.

I`d love to have em inhand to look at !!

& the mystery builds !!

I doubt that all the stuff is for the same application as i see a couple of things that look like shotshell stuff. Such as the third item from the top (center photo) looks to me like a plunger for a crimp die.

floodgate will know

The large one, noted is not for shotshells, inside it has what looks like 2 RCBS case trimmer shell holders in one piece. It may be a sizer of sorts since one section is smaller than the other.

1 shell holder is for a 30-06 size case for certain.

I don't know what they are, but I am not inclined to call them reloading tools, unless someone can clearly identify them as such.

For certain, reloading or swaging tools. 2 different shellholders, and bullet seaters. Not a single part has a name so I'm inclined to agree they might be handmade.

One more suggestion is Simplex. The Australian tool maker. The large tube could be part of the sizer that fits on the press. Floodgate has one but has not gotten to an evaluation yet. I'll ask him.
The 5/8 by unknown fine thread would be Simplex. They used a British fine thread that I do not have off the top of my head.
