Somebody or somebodys recommended glue for those alum GC's that are not tight. My question is what kind (brand) do you recommend and what is your proceedure. I tried Elmers and had FAIR Sucess, tried Gorilla Glud and it worked ok, but had and ozze out factor that I picked off. So, what works best, and what is your proceedure for application?
Thanks in advance for all who respond to this thread.

These alum bottles are right at .014, and was able to get a half dozen in Reno last year, and they work great for 30 cals. However, they don't sell Bud in the blue Alum bottles in Ne or Ia, or at least I have not been able to find them. Would sure like to have a dozen or so and would gladly pay postage for anyone who is a Bud drinker and buys his (or hers for that matter) in the alum bottles.
Thanks in advance to all who respond to this thread!

A small drop of crazy glue works for me. Just don't use too much.

I picked up a roll of the Amerimax #68104. It works real good for both 44 and 30 cal checks from the Freechex III. It cost right at 22.00 dollars with tax from Ace hardware. If I figured right I think one roll 4 inch by 50 foot will make around 6600 44 checks or over 10,000 30 cal checks. And with the FC III it doesn't take very long to do it.The checks that I have made fit all the boolits real tight. No need for glue.............Terry

I bought a bottle of ZAP and it is the best glue I have ever used. It dries inseconds and works on everything I have tried. The only thing I ever managed to stick with super glue was my thumb and forefinger.

Please tell us the # of the glue and where you found it?

Buy Gator checks off of Blammer and you won't need glue to make them stick. Just say'n.

Here's your options:
1.You can glue them on. PITA but it works
2. you can grab some thicker alumium flashing (I got .011 thickness from Ace but they had several thicknesses)
3. you can polish down the cupping mandrel on your checkmaker so that it renders a smaller check.

Just a plug for the Glue. Having built model R/C airplanes from Balsa for most of my life, I have always found Zap brand proucts to be more expensive than the "store brand" and have always bought the cheaper brands of cyanocrylate glue.

Original "crazy glue" super glue works well, about HALF of a normal drop.

I just Beaglecmy molds that are loose at the gas shank, tight fit with no fuss :) I have access to copious amounts of .008" lith plates, bar none it the best material for checks, I would much rather glue or beagle than use anything else, no other material from any source (various flashings, bottles, cans, etc.) Work the same and I get zero springback.
