800X Loads

I recently came into a quantity of IMR 800X Hi-Skor powder, so I was wondering if anyone has some cast loads they would be willing to share. As usual I am currently loading everthing from 22 C.F. to 45-70. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I too was given a large amount of 800X.

I used to load 5gr under a 225415 in my Hornet for 1900fps, 11gr under a Lyman 311466 for 1550fps in my .303 British, 5gr under a Lyman 311008 in my .32-20 for 1300fps and 12gr under a Lyman 323470 in my 8X57mm for 1600fps. I burnt the thick end of 5 pounds over about 10 years..............ALL FREE!

It worked just fine and by and large I used PB data from the Lyman Cast Bullet Handbook as data as they are very close to each other though 800X is the slower of the two. Unique data would be safe.

Doesn't meter worth a damn though for small amounts so I had to weight each load but a small price to pay for free powder.
