has anyone tried one of these in 8mm? I heard that they were available, but haven't seen one advertised. I only seem to think of it on the weekend when the shops are shut.
The 6.5s are on sale here for less money than my reasonable condition mil surp rifle will bring on the second hand market.
I have two 8mm, a Vaguero and a Turk and a pretty neat Swede with the fancy rear sight. I am tempted to go with Zustavas so that I can mount scopes as the milsurp sights are usable for me, but that about all they are, I go crosseyed trying to use them for a serious range plinking.
I have a 20 year old Interarms MkX in 30/06 which was sold here with a RamLine stock. My son now owns it. We call it 'Old Painless' and it works a treat!
