l'm back. lnto casting that is. l started tinkering w/Mod 27 last year after getting back into IHMSA. lt had been a long dry spell since leaving casting/IHMSA in 1983. The year my FIL died. lt just wasnt fun w/o him.
Since last year l have half dozen molds.RCBS sizer. 10 & 20 lb pots. Finding lead has been a real challenge. Safer now since state inspections are in the past along with all those razor blades in ww bucket. No real problms yet in casting. l have put a couple thousand rds thru my Mod 27. Mostly lyman 35816 in RCBS mold sized to 358. My RCBS 41-210swc has been a joy to cast and shoot using 8gr Unique in a 6'' Mod 57. My 44mag bullets are giving me FITS. lyman 429215gc has little ring imprints when sized to .429''. l am using correct top punch 421
