Just thought I'd share my results from my first experience with WST and 9mm.

First of all I don't have a chroney so this is personal feedback.

S&S 125gr lrn
Federal once fired brass
Federal primers

Glock 22 w/lonewolf conversion barrel

First loads were 4.3gr OAL 1.095
Pistol cycled fine
Recoil was noticeably lighter than the American Eagle 115gr that I was using to compare and accuracy was down.

Went to 4.4gr OAL 1.13
Recoil firmed up and accuracy was much better.

Notes: I wanted to use WST because of reports of less smoke with lead. There was a little smoke but nothing like I've had with other powders.

I was shooting at an 8 inch target at 25 yds. I'm not an expert marksman but with the 4.4gr load I put nearly every shot in the target. For me that really good.

Good to hear mate, I was given 8 kilos ( 20lb) of WST sometime ago. I was given some good advice from members on this site for its use in my .38 Super. I now have a 9mm CZ 75B and will try out your data.

IF that load cycles, eep at it. IME, I doubt you are getting to minot with it, you may want to bump to 4.5gr. My std load is 4.8gr under a 124grLTC @ 1.060" OAL, makes just under 1100fps in a G17.

I use 4.2 WST under a cast 121 TC boolit. Accurate load for my XDm 5.25 and Caspian 1911. Functions fine.

Fred, is there any concern about pressure? 4.8gr looked like it didn't leave much room to seat the boolit.

I found WSF better for 9mm, WST is my go to powder for 45 acp

I am intersted to see how this goes. I also have a Glock 22 with 9 and 40 barrels. I get great results with 3.7 wst and a 175 gr lee tc in 40. In 9mm I have been running WSF but have been thinking of trying Bullseye and WST.

Same here. 4.5 grains to be exact.
